Memory Care and Dementia Support Program
A specialized program offering support for Black seniors living with memory loss, dementia, or
Alzheimer’s, providing resources and respite for their families and caregivers.
Key Activities:
- Host memory-enhancing activities such as puzzles, music therapy, and storytelling
- Provide caregiver support groups and workshops on dementia care techniques.
- Offer culturally sensitive dementia care services, including respite care and in-home assistance
- Raise awareness about dementia and reduce stigma through community education events.
Target Population:
Black seniors with memory-related conditions and their caregivers.
Expected Outcomes:
- Improved quality of life for seniors living with dementia
