Gbemisola Lawal, an Assistant Professor of Nursing, is dedicated to enhancing healthcare outcomes for African descent seniors through culturally competent education and practices. With a strong academic background and hands-on experience in geriatric care, Gbemisola brings a wealth of knowledge to the Calgary Black Seniors Foundation (CBSF).

She is passionate about creating inclusive care models that address the unique health challenges faced by seniors of African descent, advocating for both community engagement and preventative health education.
